Sydney Scorpionfish

In 2004 a new species of fish was discovered that is thought to be only found in Sydney Harbour - the Sydney Scorpionfish.

Unfortunately, the fish was dead by the time it was identified and it's now pickled in a jar at the Australian Museum. No one has ever seen one alive and we don't even know what colour it is.

It maybe Sydney's most elusive fish... but one day we'll spot one... we'll let you know when we do.
