Grey Nurse Shark

The Grey Nurse Shark is the world’s scariest harmless shark. Although they’re really big and have lots of very sharp teeth, they’ve never eaten a human. There’s really no need to be afraid of them at all… that is, unless you’re a fish or you're related to one. You see, Grey Nurse Sharks have a taste for their siblings. The first one to grow teeth in their mothers womb eats all of their brothers and sisters. Only one (well-fed) baby shark ever pops out of each womb.

Since we’ve popped off most of the sharks that have been born over the last 50 years, it is no surprise that the Australian Grey Nurse Shark is now one of the rarest sharks in the world.
